Foi amor à primeira vista, completamente. Eu já estava à procura de uma carteira porque a minha precisava de reforma, e quando me deparei na Asos com este padrão e com este efeito holográfico rendi-me.

It was love at first sight. I was already looking for a purse because mine was needing a reform, and when I came across this one in Asos with this pattern and with this holographic effect i fell in love.

Eu compro bases por necessidade. Uma vez que são caras não ando aí a comprar que nem uma perdida só para as testar. Antes de comprá-las tenho que as analisar muito bem e ver muitas rewiews e só depois de ler muitas boas críticas acerca desta base é que a decidi comprar. É a MELHOR base que alguma vez experimentei. Excelente cobertura, tem uma vasta gama de cores, perfeita para peles oleosas e com acne. 

I usually buy foundations because I need them. Once they are very expensive I don't buy them to only test them for you. Before I buy them I have to analyze very well and see many rewiews and only after reading many good reviews on this foundation I decided to buy it. It is the BEST foundation I ever tried. Perfect coverage, has a wide range of colors and it's perfect for oily skin and acne.

Esta gama da LaRoche-Posay, a Effaclar, contem o gel de limpeza, o tónico, o creme hidratante e um creme para tratar zonas específicas. Depois de ver este vídeo da Sonya Esman decidi ver se resultava comigo. Digamos que noto diferenças, mas a minha alimentação não tem sido a melhor (culpem a viagem de finalistas) por isso não posso pedir milagres. Nenhum dos produtos funciona isoladamente, quem tem acne deverá apostar na gama toda. No entanto noto que o creme hidratante, o Effaclar Mat em específico, é um excelente primer pois deixa a pele super lisa.

The La Roche-Posay Effaclar contains a cleansing gel, a tonic, a moisturizer and a anti-imperfections cream. After seeing this video of Sonya Esman I decided to see if these products worked for me too. I can notice differences, but I didn't eat the best foods (blame the spring break) so I can't ask for miracles. None of the products works alone, so who has acne should aim to full range. However I noticed that the moisturizer, the Effaclar Mat in particular, is an excellent primer because it softens the skin very well.

E por último mas não menos importante... O álbum do James Bay. Foi a minha companhia durante maior parte da viagem para Calpe e ainda não me fartei. Consigo ouvi-lo durante horas a fio. Daqui a 100 dias espero vê-lo no NOS Alive, o passe dos 3 dias é a próxima aquisição!

And finally... The James Bay's new album. I can hear it for hours without getting tired. 100 days  from now I hope to see him on NOS Alive, the 3 days pass is the next purchase!

                  

Makeup Collection || Foundations and BB Creams

Maquilhagem sempre foi uma grande paixão minha. Comecei-me a maquilhar diariamente há cerca de 4 anos e a base era o mais importante porque tinha muito acne. Acho que na altura ainda não existia BB Cream, e se existia eu não sabia da existência dele. O que é certo é que agora só uso base em festas e eventos mais especiais. Optei por usar o BB Cream diariamente, pois é mais saudável para a pele e não tem tanta cobertura, o que dá um ar mais natural. Neste post vou-vos dar uma breve opinião sobre cada produto.

Makeup has always been a great passion of mine. I use makeup on a daily routine for about 4 years and the foundation was the most important because I had much acne. I think at the time it didn't exist BB Cream, and if it did exist I didn't know about its existence. What is certain is that now I only use foundation on parties and special events. I chose to use BB Cream daily because it is healthier for the skin and does not have as much coverage, which gives a more natural look. In this post I will give you a short review of each product.

Avon Ideal Flawless

Cobertura: Média/Alta Coverage: Medium / High

Textura: Líquida mas consistente Texture: Liquid but consistent

Aconselho esta base para quem tem pele seca/normal porque não é mate. Eu tenho pele oleosa, e apesar de gostar da fórmula desta base tenho que andar sempre a retocar o pó. 

I recomend this foundation for those who have dry/normal skin because it isn't matte. I have oily skin, and although I like the formulation of this foundation I have to retouch with powder many times during the day.

Revlon Colorstay matte finish

Cobertura: Média/Alta Coverage: Medium / High

Textura: Líquida mas consistente Texture: Liquid but consistent

Uma das melhores bases que já experimentei! A cobertura é fantástica e é uma excelente opção para quem sofre de acne, pois para além da cobertura também tem acabamento mate. Os ponto mais negativos são o facto não ter pump e o o facto de termos que espalhar a base logo depois da aplicação pois seca rapidamente.

One of the best foundations I've ever used! The coverage is fantastic and is a great option for those who suffer from acne, because it covers very well and has a matte finish. The most negative point is the fact of not having a pump and the the fact that we have to blend the foundation right after the aplication because it dries quickly.

 
MAC Studio fix fluid

É a melhor base que eu tenho, mas é também a mais cara. Todos já ouviram falar nela e é impossível ficar indiferente a esta marca. Já não me resta nada, o que me deixa muito triste. A cobertura é muuuito boa e tem um acabamento mate. 

It is the best foundation I have, but it is also the most expensive. Everyone has heard about it and it is impossible to remain indifferent to this brand. I already used it all, what makes me very sad. The coverage is sooooo good and has a matte finish.

 
Avon Calming Effects

Terríiiiiivel! Foi a minha primeira base (como podem verificar pelo aspecto da embalagem). Tenho-a à imensos anos e nem sei porque é que ainda não a deitei fora. Pensei em não falar nela, mas decidi mantê-la só para vos dizer: Não comprem esta base. Nunca.
Terriiiiible! It was my first foundation (as you can see by the look of the botle). I have it for so many years and I don't know why I still keep it. I thought about not speaking about this one, but I decided to keep it just to tell you: Do not buy this foundation. Never.

 
L'oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint

Cobertura: Baixa/Média Coverage: Low / Medium

Textura: Muito líquida Texture: Very liquid

Parece-me ser boa, mas ainda não tive a possibilidade de a experimentar bem. O problema das bases compradas nos super e hipermercados (pelo menos aqui em Portugal) é que vêm sempre em tons escuros. O facto de eu ter pele clara torna difícil a compra de bases. Mas de certeza que, no verão quando ganhar alguma cor, irei usá-la muitas vezes. Apesar desta base parecer oleosa, quando aplicada dá um efeito (não totalmente) mate. No entanto é preciso usar pó, pelo menos quem tem a pele oleosa...

It seems to be good, but I haven't had the chance to try it well. The problem of the foundations purchased in supermarkets (at least here in Portugal) is that it always come in dark tones. The fact that I have fair skin makes it difficult to purchase foundations. I'm sure I will use it often in summer. Despite of it's oil base, when applied gives an matte effect (not fully) . However you must use powder, at least if  you have oily skin...

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector (combinação p/ peles normais)

Não é preciso falar na cobertura, pois não é bem essa a função de um BB Cream. Dos três que tenho é desta de que gosto menos, pelo menos para o meu tipo de pele. É bastante consistente e dá um efeito muito brilhante à pele e por vezes torna-se desconfortável usá-lo... 

There's no need to mention the coverage, it isn't the function of a BB Cream. Of the three I have this is what I like the least, at least for my skin type. It is quite consistent and gives a very glossy effect to the skin and it becomes uncomfortable to use it...

 

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream 8 in 1

Como eu já referi, a função de um BB Cream não é dar cobertura, mas este safa-se muito bem nesse aspecto.  É dos meus preferidos porque tem acabamento mate e contém ácido salicílico. Ácido salicílico é um excelente exfoliante químico que pode ajudar a desobstruir os poros e tratar o acne, por isso depois de algumas pesquisas decidi comprar este BB Cream, e ainda bem que o fiz!

As I mentioned before, the function of a BB Cream is not to cover, but this is very good at it. It is of my favorites because it has a matte finish and contains salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is an excellent chemical exfoliant that can help unclog pores and treat acne, so after some research I decided to buy this BB Cream, and I'm glad I did!

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector (combinação p/ peles oleosas)

Outro BB Cream excelente para quem tem peles oleosas. Já encomendei online mais duas embalagens porque em lojas físicas não existe a minha cor, que é MUITO clara. Recomendo a quem quer um bom BB Cream não muito caro. A consistência deste é muito mais líquida em relação ao direccionado para peles normais.

Another BB Cream excellent for those with oily skin. I ordered two of these online because in physical stores there isn't my color, which is VERY fair. I recommend this for anyone who wants a good BB Cream and not too expensive. The consistency of this is more liquid than the Garnier BB Cream for normal skin.

Primeiro espalho o BB Cream com os dedos e só depois uso Powder brush da e.l.f. para um acabamento mais natural e para não desperdiçar produto.

First I blend the BB Cream with my fingers and then I use the Powder brush by e.l.f. for a more natural finish and to not waste product.

Com a ajuda do Concealer brush da e.l.f. uso o corretor da MAC nas borbulhas e olheiras.

With the Concealer brush by e.l.f. I put the MAC concealer on my pimples and dark circles.

Para fixar a maquilhagem uso o pó Fit me da Maybelline com a ajuda do Complexion brush da e.l.f.

To fix the makeup I use Fit me Powder by Maybelline with the Complexion Brush by e.l.f.

Com uma sombra castanha (neste caso a que vem no kit Primpcess da Benefit) e um pincel angular (da essence, do qual me esqueci de incluir na 1ª fotografia) preencho as sobrancelhas.

With a brown shadow (in this case the one that comes in the Primpcess kit by Benefit) and an angled brush (by essence, which I forgot to include in the 1st photo) fill eyebrows.

E para garantir um ar mais natural e não tão carregado uso uma escova de sobrancelhas (esta vem com um lápis de sobrancelhas na outra ponta, mas desconheço o marca porque é holandesa). Por fim uso a máscara transparente da e.l.f. para me certificar que as sobrancelhas permanecem no mesmo lugar o dia todo.

And to ensure a more natural look I use a brow brush (this comes with a brow pencil at the other end, but I don't know the brand because it is Dutch). Finally use the transparent mascara by e.l.f. to make sure that the eyebrows remain in the same place all day.

Agora contorno o rosto com o iluminador(1) e os bronzers (3) e dou cor com o blush (2).

Now I contour the face with the highlighter (1), the bronzers (3) and the blush (2).

De seguida ilumino o canto interior dos olhos com uma sombra clara (esta é da 5 Coulers Palette nr 830 da Dior).

Then I highlight the inner corner of the eye with a light shade (this one is from the 5 Coulers Palette nr 830 Dior).

A melhor parte (e também mais complicada): Com o mesmo pincel com que preenchi as sobrancelhas, delineio agora os olhos com o Gel liner da Maybelline.

The best part (and more complicated too): With the same brush that I filled the eyebrows, now I outline the eyes with the Gel liner Maybelline.

 

Para terminar os olhos uso o curvex e passo uma máscara.

To finish the eyes I use the eyelash curler and a mascara.

E para terminar o look hidrato os lábio com vaselina (ou com um batom do cieiro) e dou cor aos lábios. Desta vez decidi usar um lipgloss da Nyx, na cor Sugar Pie.

And to finish the look I hydrate the lips with Vaseline (or with a chapped lipstick) and I give color to the lips. This time I decided to use a lipgloss Nyx in Sugar Pie color.

Quero referir que os produtos que uso variam imenso de dia para dia e que só faço eyeliner nos dias em que tenho mais tempo. Quando estou atrasada para a escola é possível que também não faça contorno do rosto, mas o resto faço num instante. Para o dia-a-dia não costumo usar sombras, e se usar é porque tive realmente muito tempo...  Em relação ao batom, mudo-o todos os dias conforme o meu outfit. 

I want to mention that the products I use vary from day to day and I just make the eyeliner on days that I have more time. When I'm late for school, I don't contour my face either, but the rest I do quickly. I don't usually use shadows daily, bbut if I use it's because I really had much time... I change the lipstick daily, it depends of my outfit.

Olá queridas! Venho mostrar-vos algumas fotos que tirei hoje com as minhas amigas neste dia de Inverno com um sol radiante. Quero também mostrar-vos o resumo das coisas que recebi pelo Natal. Não foram muitas, preferi pedir dinhiro do que prendas propriamente ditas. Vou aproveitar os saldos que vêm brevemente para gastar o dinheiro que recebi. Depois posto aqui as minhas compras.
